COHAB Initiative Strategy 2008 - 2010: Call for Submissions

In response to the outputs of the Second International Conference on Health and Biodiversity (summary report available here), and Decisions taken at the 9th Conference of the Parties to the U.N. Convention on Biological Diversity (particularly Decision IX/27), the Secretariat of the COHAB Initiative is working with the COHAB Steering Committee and COHAB Partner organisations to prepare a new programme of work for the period from mid-2008 to the end of 2010.

The COHAB Initiative Strategy 2008 - 2010 will refine the scope of work of the Initiative, outlining the key thematic and geographic areas in which the COHAB Initiative will operate. The Strategy will set the framework for future partnerships, and outline priority actions and key performance indicators for the period leading to and including the International Year of Biodiversity in 2010.

The Secretariat welcomes submissions on the Strategy from organisations and individuals working in areas related to the aims of the COHAB Initiative. We are particularly interested to receive recommendations and proposals for collaborative activities, or to learn of existing initiatives, projects or programmes which the COHAB Initiative should support or connect with in the coming years.
