New COHAB Initiative website launched
The COHAB Initiative Secretariat is pleased to announce the launch of its new website and on-line resource centre. Previous visitors to the site will notice that we have a new logo, reflecting a move forward into a new and exciting phase of international partnership and collaboration on the issue of biodiversity and human health. The launch of the new website also coincides with our official announcement of the Second International Conference on Health and Biodiversity, which will take place in Galway, Ireland in February 2008.
Over the coming months, we will be including a number of additional features on this website, including a search function, regular newsletters, an on-line resource centre, regular discussion forums, details of COHAB Initiative activities, and information about COHAB Partners. The site will also be available in seven languages - English, Irish, Spanish, French, German, Arabic and Russian – later this year.
This website will grow to what we hope will be a major on-line resource for information, networking and collaboration on the links between biodiversity and human health and well-being. We ask you to bear with us as we develop the site, and please feel free to send your comments and ideas to us - allsuggestions are greatly appreciated.
