This year, the course is being organised in partnership with the COHAB Initiative Secretariat, Natural England and DEFRA, and will include particular focus on the importance of biodiversity to business development and economic security, public health and social welfare.

Biodiversity in SEA and HIA in Ireland
The COHAB Initiative Sceretariat is working in association with colleagues at the International Association for Impact Assessment, the Secretariat to the Convention on Biological Diversity and the World Health Organisation to prepare a set of guidance notes for the considerration of biodiversity within the framework of Strategic Environmental Assessment and Health Impact Assessment in the Republic of Ireland.
